Trendy Trees

Hi Hi!!
Another weekend has come and gone... How come work weeks do not go as fast, lol??
Just thought I would take a quick minute and post a card I made earlier today. It was inspired from one I made at stamp camp yesterday, I will try to post that one sometime too. I sure did love stamp camp yesterday, all the cards were beautiful!!
Anyway, this cutie patootie card was for a friend's birthday party today. All items are SU, if you have any questions, just ask.
Have a great night!! Live well...

In Rememberance of MJ and FF

It breaks my heart to have heard of the news of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett yesterday. May you both be in a better place now, without pain.

The passing of Michael Jackson has truly touched me as being a child of the 80's. I remember singing along to his FAMOUS songs and making up my own dances to them as well. He was truly and icon and the KING OF POP.

Regardless of all the trials and tribulations in his life...he truly was a talented singer and dancer who helped shaped the music world in which we all know.

May you both rest in peace...God Bless...

Weekends go by too fast...

Wow, how time flies on the weekends! My DH and I just got home from another camping trip. This time, we went to the lake. It was fun, but the bugs drove me crazy! Sorry Wendy from Canada, but I forgot to take pictures of our camper...I suck, I know...Maybe next time...I promise I will try.

Anyway, here is the card I made for my step-dad for Father's Day. I CASED the idea from a card we made at stamp camp last weekend. I am excited to say I get to go to stamp camp next weekend too. So much fun and so many ideas!!

Deets: SU CS Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Sage Shadow, and White. DSP is Always Artichoke. Stamp image is from Lovely as a Tree ( an absolute "staple" set). Ribbon is SU from my stash and the brad is from my stash as well.

I hope everyone had/has a wonderful Father's Day!

New Circle Circus!

Hi! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Anything exciting??

Nothing too crazy here. I was so excited to go to stamp camp yesterday. It was fun and really good to see Karen again :) We had 12 different cards to make, so needless to say, we were busy. All the projects were very cute.

Today, my DH and I had a little more ATV therapy up in the mountains. When we came home I got to sneek a few minutes in my craft room. This is the card I created for a girlfriend's birthday. Then the weather got quite nasty, and I lost some of my mojo as the tornado sirens were going off for almost an hour. But all is good... Have a great night!

deets: SU Tempting Turquoise and White CS. New SU set Circle Circus, sentiment is Inkainkadoo. Flowers, ribbon, and bling from my stash.

Tomorrow is Stamp Camp!

As I sit on my couch with my DH watching a movie, I am pondering about samp camp tomorrow. I am really excited to be going again. This is only my 2nd time going because all the past months life got in the way... I am sure how you all know how that is. But I am making up for lost time as I am getting the opportunity to go twice this month...Yippee!

So have a great saturday...if my cards turn out decent, I will try to post some of my favs. I say decent, because I have this mentality that all "these cards" I make at classes and such are just "samples" for me and I tend to get sloppy. But it is still fun to converse and hang out with other wonderful stampers, expecially Karen and Ann from the cruise.

Chat at you soon!

Simple Masculine Card

Happy Sunday Y'all!

Hi there! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was good, but as always, I can't believe it is Sunday evening already. My DH and I had a little ATV therapy again today, but while we were in the mountains is actually started to SNOW on us! I can't believe it, it is June and still snow. Needless to say, I was not expecting it, so of course, I was not prepared and froze my butt off!

Anyway, here is a quickie card I made a week or two ago but just had not posted it yet. I always have a tough time (like many of us) with masculine cards. I got the Papertrey set, Men of Life, on the cruise and it is great for male cards. I used SU Kraft, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla. The DSP is SU Manchester, which has great masculoine patterns in it by the way. I also used my build a brad from SU as well. I just added a little clear stardust pen to the brad to add a bit of interest.

I hope you like it...To all you fellow "Cruise Ladies" out there, I challenge you to pulling out one of our many sets we got from PTI, Gina K, or Stamingbella and make a card. Blow the dust off of them ladies...show me what you got :)

Have a great night!!
